Coconut Granular Activated Carbon
Elite AQ 1000 Coconut activated carbon can be used in a variety of water, wastewater and process liquid applications for the removal of dissolved organic compounds. Elite AQ 1000 has been used in application such as process water purification, wastewater treatment and industrial chemical purification.
Elite AQ 1000 is a high activity granular activated carbon manufactured by steam activation from coconut shell charcoal. Its enhanced microporosity makes it suited for the removal of low and high molecule weight impurities from water and liquid. These contaminants include taste, odour compounds, organic colours, total organic carbon (TOC) and industrial chemicals such as chlorinated solvents (TCE,PCE). The carbon is especially effective for adsorbing trace organic compounds such as vinyl chloride, methylene chloride, MTBE and THM’s/disinfection by-products. Elite AQ 1000 is certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 standard, Halal and Kosher.
