Granular Activated Carbon - Coconut
Elite Carbon Creations Private Limited produces different types of coconut shell-based Activated carbon. Granular activated carbon is defined as the activated carbon being retained on a 50-mesh sieve. Elite Carbon produces GACs with a variety of materials, methods and degrees of activation to produce activated carbons designed to meet and exceed the demands of a wide array of applications.
GAC makes it suitable for removing a variety of contaminants from water, air, liquids and gases. It can be re-activated through thermal oxidation and used multiple times for same applications. GAC is optimal for use in vapor and liquid adsorption applications. Our coconut shell based activated carbon has a higher percentage of micro-pores, which makes it highly effective for the filtration of small organics structures, recovery of precious metals and reduction of disinfection byproducts (DBPs) in potable water.

Fine Mesh Activated Carbon - Coconut
Fine mesh activated carbon is a previous form of powdered activated carbon (PAC) that is generated by simple crushing or grinding of powdered activated carbon (PAC) into smaller particle size. It has found application in water treatment as it has been reported to provide faster adsorption rate and better adsorption capacity for organic matter and metals.
Fine products like 50×100 / 50×200/ 60×200/ 60×170 / 40×140 / 80×200 / 80×325 / 80×400 / 100×325 / 100×400 are screened in the Multi deck special screeners for its Consistent Particle size distributions.
Powder Activated Carbon - Coconut
Powdered Activated Carbon is effective in the removal of odor, and decolorization in wine, modification of the taste of beer, and the purification and decolorization of gelatin. It is also built into air purification systems to adsorb volatile compounds and heavy metals, like mercury.

pH Modified Activated Carbon - Coconut
We manufacture a variety of washed activated carbon, in standard and custom sizes, for various application.
Washed Activated Carbon is obtained washing the activated carbon by acid and water to remove the water-soluble ash and acid soluble ash. This process will also lower the total ash content of the carbon. Acid washed activated carbon is used for treating drinking water and food grade applications. Municipal water treatment plants, food processing companies, breweries and distilleries uses washed Activated Carbon.
Virgin carbon is washed with Low Ph water and then with neutral in a mixer reactor (Food Grade Reactor). The Washed carbon is collected and allowed to Dewater. Then it is taken to the Rotary Drier (Stainless Steel lines) to remove the moisture. The Dried material is demagnetized, screened and packed as Final product – Washed Activated Carbon. Our washing plant capacity is 2400 MT Per Annum.
We can handle the following chemicals.
- H2SO4 – Sulfuric acid
- HCL – Hydrochloric acid
- HNO₃ – Nitric acid
- CH₂O₂ – Formic acid
- CH₃COOH – Acetic acid
- NaOH – Sodium hydroxide
